This method unlike others does not require internet enabled phone or computer.
On you GSM mobile phone, no matter the type, you can conveniently make your transfer without stressing yourself going to the banking hall. In fact, the *737* transfer service platform has been introduced to build on the success of the Bank’s One Click Top–up service that offers Guarantee Trust Bank customers an efficient and easy way of transferring money to other beneficiaries and buying airtime on their GSM mobile phones directly from their Guarantee Trust Bank account by simply dialing a short USSD code – *737*AMOUNT#.
Below is a guide on how to make your transfer using this method.
For transfer to a Guarantee Trust Bank account holder, customers are to dial *737*1*Amount*NUBAN Account Number# E.g. *737*1*1000*1234567890# from the mobile number registered with the Bank. After that, the customers will then be required to put the last four digits of their Guarantee Trust Bank Naira MasterCard to authenticate the transaction.
For transfers to beneficiaries in other Banks, customers are required to dial *737*2*Amount*NUBAN Account Number# e.g. *737*2*1000*1234567890#. A list of the Nigerian commercial banks will appear where the customer will be required to select the beneficiary’s bank from the list. After that, the customer will then be required to put the last four digits of their Guarantee Trust Bank Naira MasterCard to authenticate the transaction.
