In
its effort to satisfying its customers, Guarantee Trust Bank; one of the
leading commercial banks in Nigeria has introduced the easiest way of sending
money to anyone in Nigeria, provided the person has a bank account, either with
the Guarantee Trust Bank or another bank. This method unlike others does not
require internet enabled phone or computer.
On you GSM mobile phone, no matter
the type, you can conveniently make your transfer without stressing yourself
going to the banking hall. In fact, the *737* transfer service platform has
been introduced to build on the success of the Bank’s One Click Top–up service that
offers Guarantee Trust Bank customers an efficient and easy way of transferring
money to other beneficiaries and buying airtime on their GSM mobile phones
directly from their Guarantee Trust Bank account by simply dialing a short USSD
code – *737*AMOUNT#.
Below
is a guide on how to make your transfer using this method.
For
transfer to a Guarantee Trust Bank account holder, customers are to dial *737*1*Amount*NUBAN
Account Number# E.g. *737*1*1000*1234567890# from the mobile number registered
with the Bank. After that, the customers will then be required to put the last
four digits of their Guarantee Trust Bank Naira MasterCard to authenticate the
transaction.
For
transfers to beneficiaries in other Banks, customers are required to dial
*737*2*Amount*NUBAN Account Number# e.g. *737*2*1000*1234567890#. A list of the
Nigerian commercial banks will appear where the customer will be required to
select the beneficiary’s bank from the list. After that, the customer will then
be required to put the last four digits of their Guarantee Trust Bank Naira
MasterCard to authenticate the transaction.
Note that the bank’s transfer charge
applies
