It is very annoying that at times, after publishing your blog post,
you will see its first paragraph appearing with the ‘Normal 0 false false false
EN-US X-NONE X-NONE’ which you never put when you were editing your blog post.
See screen shot below.
At times, this
occurs when you edit your post on the Microsoft Office Word software. If it has
happened to you and you don’t know how to remove it; the good news here is that
I have found the solution. Just follow the few simple steps below and you will
get it removed.
Step 1: Log in to your blogger blog dashboard to select
the blog that contains the post you want to edit. See screen shot below for guide.
Step 2: Click on ‘posts’ from the
drop-down menu at the left as you can see in the screenshot below.
Step 3: When your published posts display,
select the affected post in which you want to remove the annoying ‘Normal 0
false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE’. See screen shot below.
Step 4: When blog text editor opens, click
on HTML editor as in the screen shot below to remove the annoying texts.
Step 5: When the HTML texts editor open, observe
carefully and you will see this line of texts as highlighted here <!-- if[gte mso 9]>< xml>, select the HTML texts from
that line until you get to this line of text as highlighted here <! [end if]--> ; as you can see in these screen shots;
Add caption |
after
you have selected the texts, hit the ‘delete’ button on your computer keyboard
to erase the selected texts.
Step 6: After you have erased the selected
texts, click on the orange coloured button that says ‘update’. See screen shot
Congratulations; you have removed it. Now, click on ‘view
blog’ button as seen in the screen shot below to see the post and you will discover that the ‘Normal 0 false
false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE’ are no longer there.
