At times it
frustrates when you don't know your Subscribers Identification Module (SIM)
Number, especially when you have just bought the SIM Card newly.
One of the
options available for you to trace the SIM number is to flash the phone number
of another person close to you at that moment, so that your new phone number
may appear, another option is to send an SMS to a phone number of another
person close to you at that moment or to send please call me back, assuming
someone close to you at that moment is using an Airtel SIM Card. But the truth
is that if the aforementioned options are not obtainable at that moment, you
may get frustrated, especially when someone needs your new phone number for a
very urgent purpose. I have encountered same challenge on different occasions,
hence my desire to share the discovered solution with others.
THE STEPS:
==>Dial *121# on the cell phone that contains your new Airtel SIM Cars. You will see a message 'welcome to Airtel Self Service' with options 1 to 5.
==> Reply with option 5 (Account Information) by pressing '5' on your cell phone and send.
==> You will see another message (Account Information) with options 1 to 5.
==> Reply with option '1' (My Number) by pressing '1' and send. You will see a message 'Your Number is 08024156009'.
